Aegis Nova was founded in 1917 by Gregori Meir, a German scientist who defected to America shortly before the war. He believed strongly in the paranormal, and wanted to study its findings. He believed that by understanding the paranormal, we could harness and control it, and thereby open entirely new doorways for the betterment of Humanity.
